"Attachments"

Ibrahim - "Attachments"

The least abstract but probably the most accessible thing I've ever done.
If only because I managed to do most of the things I'm interested in doing all in one album.

A bit weird in the sense that a lot of savage things that would have been allowed to flourish on their own are (nicely) buried in the mix.

An experiment in balance perhaps?
Mature might not be too strong a word to describe this one.

A colourful, lighter and more outward looking version of things that happened on "Understandment." Nice sounds for nice people - I hope! File under Everyday Listening.

Commencement

Hello and welcome to the first ever blog dedicated to the recorded works of Ibrahim.

Ibrahim hails from Toronto, Canada and has been crafting shapes and colours in the form
of electronic music for roughly ten years or so. Much of this history has gone undocumented as of yet but hopefully this blog will be the first ever compendium of recordings and related information. At last the story can be told...

For the time being, interested parties may choose to peruse the poorly maintained but
useful Ibrahim myspace page at www.myspace.com/ibrahimusic

The track "Forced To Commute" (from "Experiments In Normal Living") now appears on the new Nixrec compilation. Find it here: www.nixrec.com
